What we collect
Two categories, and only two. First, anonymous usage data: page views, approximate country, browser type and referring site, gathered through privacy-respecting analytics and standard server logs. This data is aggregated and cannot identify you. Second, anything you send us yourself — an email to our editorial inbox includes your address and whatever you wrote, and we keep it only as long as the correspondence needs.
We do not collect names, dates of birth, payment details or identity documents, because nothing on this site requires them. If a casino asks you for those things after you click through, that collection happens under the casino's privacy policy, not ours.
Cookies and local storage
A single local-storage entry remembers your cookie-banner choice so we don't ask twice. Analytics may set a small number of cookies to distinguish new visits from returning ones. The full inventory, such as it is, lives in the cookie policy.
Affiliate links and third parties
When you follow a casino link from this site, the destination operator's affiliate systems record that the visit came from us — that is how commissions work, and it is disclosed on our disclosure page. What happens on the operator's site is governed by that operator's own privacy policy, which we'd genuinely encourage you to read, since they will collect far more than we ever do. We do not sell, rent or trade any data to anyone.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you (usually: your emails to us, or nothing), request its correction or deletion, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you think we've handled data unlawfully. Requests go to editor@reelcompareuk.com and are answered within a month.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and material changes get a note on the homepage. We won't quietly expand what we collect.
