What Reel Compare UK is
A small independent site that compares UKGC-licensed online casinos, with a particular interest in the games themselves — which studios stock each lobby, how the live floors compare, and which titles justify the space they take up. We are not a casino. We hold no gambling licences, run no games, take no bets and never touch player money. Our entire product is the comparison you read.
We are not owned by, invested in, or managed by any operator we list. If that ever changed, the relationship would be printed at the top of the affected review, not tucked into a policy page.
How the site makes money
Affiliate commissions. When a reader clicks through to a casino and opens an account, that operator may pay us a fee. This is the standard funding model for comparison sites, and it creates an obvious tension we'd rather name than hide: the companies we review are the companies that pay us.
Here is how we keep the reviews honest despite that. Scores come from a fixed eight-point checklist applied identically to every site, and the shortlist order follows the scores — there is no "featured" slot for sale. Commission rates differ between operators, and we do not look at those rates when scoring; the person doing the scoring genuinely doesn't know them. And we say no: casinos that fail the licence check or score poorly simply don't appear, no matter what their affiliate programme offers. The full picture is on our affiliate disclosure page.
What we're qualified to say — and what we're not
We can tell you which studios a lobby carries, how the app behaved on the phones we tested, and what the support desk said when we asked it a hard question. We cannot tell you whether you'll win (nobody can — the RNG page explains why), and we won't pretend gambling is an investment. It's paid entertainment with a house edge, and every page here is written from that premise.
If something we've published is out of date or wrong, tell us — corrections get made, not debated.
