The arrangement, mechanically
Links to casinos on this site carry tracking tags. When you follow one and open an account, the operator's affiliate programme records that you arrived from Reel Compare UK, and the operator may pay us a commission — a one-off fee, a share of their revenue from your play, or a mix. Which model applies depends on the operator's programme, not on anything you do differently.
You never pay more because you used our link. Prices, odds, games and offers are identical whether you arrive through us or type the address directly. The commission comes out of the operator's marketing budget.
What the money cannot buy
Scores, rankings and written verdicts. The shortlist order follows our eight-point scorecards, and the scorecards are filled in without reference to commission rates — different operators pay different amounts, and if that shaped the list, the list would be worthless, including commercially. An operator that stops working with us stays on the list if it earns its place; one that offers more money doesn't move up a single position.
We also don't accept payment for coverage. There are no sponsored reviews on this site, and if that ever changed, the word "sponsored" would appear on the review itself in plain sight.
Where you'll see disclosure
Every casino link that can earn us commission is marked rel="sponsored" in the page code, the showcase carries a disclosure note directly above the cards, and this statement is linked from the footer of every page. Offers shown alongside links are summaries labelled "Ad · 18+ · T&Cs apply" — the operator's full terms always take precedence over our summary.
Who we are in this arrangement
An independent publisher — not an operator, not an agent of any operator, and not a party to anything that happens between you and a casino. We hold no gambling licence because we do nothing that requires one: no games, no bets, no player funds. Complaints about an operator go to that operator, then to their listed dispute resolution provider, then to the Gambling Commission. Complaints about us go to us, and we read them.
